Summary

Tip #1: Fuel Your Purpose—It’s Already Inside You

"I spent years trying to figure out what my purpose was when I realized it was just helping people."

Teneille emphasizes that purpose doesn’t have to be discovered—it needs to be acknowledged. Often, your purpose is already present in the way you serve others naturally. Instead of overanalyzing, follow what fuels you emotionally and spiritually. This inner alignment becomes the foundation for both personal fulfillment and business success.

Tip #2: Burnout Is a Sign—Not a Failure

"By the time I was 25, I made my first million… and I completely burnt myself out."

Success without self-care leads to burnout. Teneille’s early career was marked by high achievement and exhaustion, teaching her the hard way that success alone isn’t sustainable. Real freedom comes when you prioritize balance and recovery along with achievement. Burnout can be a wake-up call to reevaluate what truly matters.

Tip #3: Leverage Daily Rituals to Stay Grounded

"Before I even let my feet hit the floor, I think of at least five things I’m grateful for."

Her structured mornings include gratitude, sun salutations, goal visualizations, and even tarot with her daughter. These rituals ground her and build resilience. Morning routines aren’t just productivity hacks—they anchor your mindset and energy before the chaos begins. Craft one that includes mindfulness, movement, and intention.

Tip #4: Structure Is Self-Respect

"You don’t just wake up being the version of you that you want to be."

Discipline and routine are not the enemy of freedom—they are its gateway. Teneille compares mindset work to bodybuilding: it takes daily reps. Whether it’s scheduling, priming, or protecting your mornings, structure enables you to show up at your best. Over time, your systems become your superpower.

Tip #5: Delegate and Let Go of Control

"Delegation and leverage was a huge piece... but it was hard to give away that power."

Many entrepreneurs (especially solopreneurs) fall into the trap of over-control. Teneille overcame this by learning to delegate tasks in her real estate business, allowing her to expand into coaching and writing. If you don’t learn to release control, you become the bottleneck in your own growth. Leverage isn’t weakness—it’s wisdom.

Tip #6: Break Through Mindset Blocks with Strategy + Support

"Success at anything is 80% your mindset… if you believe you can or can’t, you’re right."

As both a coach and realtor, Teneille walks clients through mental blocks with a mix of strategy and emotional grounding. Helping clients define their outcomes and visualize success is key. Mindset isn’t a buzzword—it’s the mental architecture that drives results or resistance. And sometimes, people just need a guide to navigate the fear.

Tip #7: Innovate—But Don’t Get Shiny Object Syndrome

"Not everything will work for you… you get to pick and choose what does."

Teneille uses tools like AI and ChatGPT to help clients visualize redesigned spaces, which builds emotional buy-in and closes deals. However, she cautions against chasing every new tech trend. Innovation should be intentional. Identify what tools fill your gaps and let go of the rest.

Tip #8: The Power is Within You—Not in the Noise

"The power is within each of you… not in the external world."

Her book Connected in Chaos was born from the realization that society is addicted to distraction and external validation. True transformation happens when we turn inward, tap into intuition, and disconnect from constant noise. In a world craving connection, grounding yourself is a rebellious and powerful act.

Tip #9: Shift from Victim to Victor

"If you can’t change the external world, shift your focus."

Teneille urges listeners to choose empowered thinking—especially when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. This mindset shift is essential to growth. When you can't control circumstances, you can control perspective, which ultimately determines your direction.

Tip #10: Define Success in Your Own Terms

"It doesn't have to make sense to anybody else... if it inspires you, it’s yours to pursue."

Whether it's becoming a bestselling author, building a team, or raising a family, Teneille makes clear that success is self-defined. Your goals should come from inner alignment, not imitation. Pursue what lights you up and allow your journey to unfold uniquely—it’s the most authentic (and profitable) path you can walk.
