Integrating Faith Into Every Area of Life With Dan Rosenblatt

Episode Description

In this episode of the On The Rise Podcast, host Jeremy Dyer sits down with Ben Reinberg, a prominent commercial real estate investor and founder of Alliance CGC, to talk about why hard assets remain the most reliable path to generational wealth — especially in a market cycle defined by trillions of dollars in maturing loans and ongoing economic uncertainty. Ben breaks down why hoarding cash is the wrong response to market volatility, what makes medical office one of the most recession-resilient asset classes available, and why the ability to hold is the single most important variable in any real estate investment. He also shares what separates capital raisers who consistently win, how to evaluate an operator beyond the pitch deck, and what investors sitting on the sidelines in 2026 should be doing right now.

Summary

1. Integration Starts With How You Answer "How Are You?" Dan does not wait for permission to bring his faith into his work. He has learned to use ordinary moments — a client asking what's new, a Monday morning check-in, a casual conversation — as openings to mention his church, his men's group, or something his pastor taught. These are not forced or awkward. They are strategic and authentic, and they have led to 90-minute conversations with business owners who had no one else to talk to.

"If somebody just says, 'How are you?' there are so many ways to start integrating your faith right from the get-go."

2. You Are Not Just a Salesperson — You Are a Shepherd Dan's career motto since day one has been to become more than an insurance agent — to be a pastor, a friend, a brother, a close confidant to the business owners he serves. That posture has created a business where clients who are not even paying customers call him for prayer, and where 90-minute conversations about marriage, parenting, and faith are a normal part of a Wednesday.

"My motto for my career has always been to not just be an insurance salesman, but to be a pastor, a friend, a brother, a close confidant."

3. 72 Ministries — The Idea That Waited a Decade The name, the logo, the mission statement, and the vision for 72 Ministries had been sitting in a note on Dan's phone for years. It was his mentor's stage four cancer diagnosis — and the realization that life is short — that finally pushed him to take the first step. Within months, a waitress he had known for 20 years told him she had been watching the videos. A friend who had walked away from faith reached out to talk about scripture. You never know who is watching.

"The ministry hasn't even been a full year. But I get messages every day. In some way, shape, or form, there is an impact. If one person comes to know the Lord, it's totally worth it."

4. You Are Not a Lone Wolf — You Are a Lone Sheep Dan challenges the myth of the self-made, lone-wolf leader with direct scriptural clarity. Scripture calls us sheep, not wolves. A sheep without a flock is not independent — it is vulnerable. The answer to isolation in faith and in business is the same: get plugged in, find community, find a mentor, find a few people to run with regularly. God moves when His people gather.

"If you think you're a lone wolf, you're not a lone wolf. You're a lone sheep. And you're going to get devoured. So get plugged in."

5. Fear Is False Evidence Appearing Real Dan is candid about his genetic predisposition to anxiety and depression, and equally candid about what has helped him most — hiding Scripture in his heart so it is there when the fear comes. He has spent sleepless nights reciting Philippians 4 over and over until peace came. His conviction is simple: we have two choices when fear shows up — believe the lie, or lay it at God's feet.

"Fear is false evidence appearing real. Or face everything and rise. We have the opportunity to choose."

6. Take One Step — Just One The paralyzing weight of a big vision is often what keeps people from starting. Dan's advice is relentlessly practical — identify one step, take it, and trust that God will reveal the next. He did not know anything about YouTube, cameras, or lighting. He took one step anyway. Joshua stepped into the rushing Jordan River without knowing when it would stop. It stopped when he stepped.

"Every great journey starts with a single step. We'll never accomplish what God has for us if we don't just take that step."

7. Scripture Transforms Character — Even When It Is Not Directly Applicable Dan does not read the Bible looking for a direct verse to apply to his insurance proposal for the day. He reads it to let it renew his mind and heart, so that his character — how he treats people, how he handles fear, how he responds to failure — is being shaped by the wisdom of God's word. He is currently studying the contrast between how Saul and David responded to sin, and carrying those lessons into his Monday morning.

"It's not always directly applicable — I read this story about David and it's gonna solve my insurance proposal. But it transforms your character. It renews your mind and your heart and you carry it with you."

8. If You Don't Know Him — Just Pray Dan closes with a direct and genuine invitation to anyone listening who does not yet know Jesus — simply to pray one honest prayer: God, if you're real, show me. He grew up in a home with Jewish heritage on one side and atheism on the other. At 18, he prayed that prayer. He has never been the same.

"If you're out there searching and you don't know what your purpose is, just pray — God, if you're real, show me. And open up His word. He will show you."
